Assessment Process
Susie’s assessment process is designed to be thorough, collaborative, and supportive for both young people and adults. It typically includes the following steps:

Initial Consultation
A 60-minute session (with a parent/carer for young people, or directly with the adult client) to understand presenting concerns, gather relevant background information, and develop a tailored assessment plan.
Fee: $300 (separate to the assessment package)

Assessment Package Includes:

Assessment sessions
Conducted with the young person or adult client. The number of sessions will vary depending on the type of assessment being completed.

Additional clinical interviews (as needed)
For young people, this may include further parent/carer interviews (e.g., developmental history for autism assessments). For adults, this may involve more in-depth clinical interviews to gather developmental and current functioning information aligned with diagnostic criteria (e.g., autism or ADHD).

Consultation with key supports (where relevant)
This may include brief discussions with teachers, paediatricians, partners, or other relevant professionals to support a comprehensive understanding.

Standardised questionnaires (psychometrics)
Completed by parents/carers, teachers, and/or the individual themselves, depending on age and context. These may be completed during sessions or at home.

Review of relevant documentation
Including school reports, previous assessments, other supporting documentation, and information from other professionals where applicable.

Comprehensive report
Integrating assessment findings, with clear and individualised recommendations.

Feedback session
A dedicated session with the parent/carer or adult client to discuss outcomes and recommendations. This is typically held approximately 4 weeks after the final assessment session.
